I wanted to ask, since the copyright thing has been mentioned, what about DJ mixes? Are these considered «fair use» or they are only accepted if they only have copylefted music on it?

IANAL, but generally speaking if you are the DJ in question, you'll need to have paid royalties on any copyrighted music in the mix before you can distribute the mix. The laws about fair use in this context probably have some variance from country to country.

If you are not the DJ, then regular copyright rules apply.

I think to be on the safe side, either

I'm glad @skyjake swooped in w/ the save on giving some insight on what's allowed. This is your capsule afterall! Sorry for the late reply btw, been a busy week, but ty @ResetReboot for asking also! I've been in deep contemplation about how to approach this matter.

I think skyjake made a p clear outline on what's safe, given legal matters n action (IK it's the sm0lnet but y'never know!). If I could add, I notice mixcloud makes it possible to host such streams. Plus, if it's a mix hosted on your own capsule, I think it's fine to post your page you have your mixes hosted over considering mixed tracks in a longform file make it difficult to reproduce each song separately 4 copies

To give a brief overview, I'd say this is the scope of what's allowed:

(all of this includes http(s):// or gemini://)

On top of that, here's the scope of what's for sure not allowed to go ahead and nip that in the bud:

I hope I've been able to help clarify and contribute further to this inquiry, and please anybody else with any more questions, you're encouraged to ask away as this helps me clear this all up a little bit more clearly! Thank you again Reboot for asking.

Sorry, btw, for the TL;DR also :P I just hope I covered as much as I could oof
