While i don't have a VR headset i have been listening to some interviews about people that spend a lot of time in VR chat. There was one thing that stuck out in each interview and it goes back to a sense of mindfulness that I only achieved once in my life and that was out on the water in the fjord of southern Alaska. You could tell that the quite places built in VR gave people a sense of silence being disconnected from modern life in a weird way even though they are connected into a piece of technology.
I can say that being in that fjord really changed me. I have not been the same since. There has been this longing for that quite deep down inside. Its turn up the volume and my sensitivity to modern life tenfold. After hearing those people talk about their calmness and experience in VR. It makes make really want to get one but deep down i know i can't as i don't think i would ever unplug again.
