Daily ride took me to the Glen Iris wetlands for the first time in a while, the water is clearer, but again no sign of the turtle. Too warm and late in the afternoon for there to be much about; pairs of Black ducks[1] paddling around dabbling for food, Dusky moorhens[2] squawking, feeding and chasing each other. Other than that just a bit of cooing from the doves in the bushes and calls from a Pee-wee[3] beside the path.
