Ugh, nearly two weeks later and all of a sudden the time has caught up with me and I hadn't written up my daily posts. So much for my commitment
Back at work after a four day mini holiday there's nothing much different to be seen or heard. Riding home I could hear the ubiquitous background shrieking of Noisy miners[1] in the bushes. Always in the background noisy miners being... noisy. At one point I came around a corner and there were 20-30 of them in a shrieking mob, on the ground and fluttering around -- I'm not sure if they were partying or fighting but the entire flock exploded up as I rode through them, arm over my face with birds and feathers everywhere!
