Working from home along today I spoilt myself by walking up the street for banh mi for lunch, then sat in the park — Warrawee park — with a view of my favourite tree, the Bunya[1]. A few Rainbow lorikeets[2] screaming around up high, but nothing much else of note until I went for a walk after I'd finished eating and three cockies[3] came screeching out of a palm tree and flew low overhead and off to the next few pine trees. I haven't seen or heard any of them for a few weeks, I wonder where they've been?
