Day three of five in lockdown, working from home with number one son schooling from home. We went out after lunch for a combined exercise session ride & something to fill in his PE session. A triangle down to Clayton along the Djerring trail, up through side streets and bike path to Monash University, through the uni and north until we met the Scotchmands creek path, then home via Huntingdale wetlands. Standout wildlife was a small flock of Straw-necked ibis[1] feeding on the lawn of an industrial estate, gorgeous reflective blues and purples in the black plumage on their backs.
