Relatedly, I'll mention that this list is available via NNTP fromnews.gmane.io in the group gmane.network.protocols.gemini. Acomp.infosystems.gemini would be distributed across the whole federatedUsenet, rather than just a single NNTP server.
Gmane is a useful way to interact with mailing lists for people whodon't want list traffic mixed in with the rest of their email. It'sespecially good for lists that one uses infrequently.
I'm not sure that there'd be enough traffic to warrant a Usenet group.I mean, this list isn't really high-traffic, so it's probably more thansufficient. I think to make it useful and not split the community you'dalso want a bi-directional gateway to the mailing list, which likelycomes with its own set of problems.
