Quitting

So if you've read the last couple of entries on here you won't really be surprised to know that I'm quitting one of my jobs, the non-profit one that's been the source of a lot of my misery lately.

The last straw was a meeting with the owner of the non-profit, and I call him the owner not the head or my boss because I do literally everything including running payroll but he has sole control over the bank account and basically his only interaction with the org is to complain about my decisions, spent a half hour berating me for the weirdest things including

responding to a text with a text instead of responding by email to his texts because it was my fault he didn't check his phone for ten days
paying the bills with other jobs because he **literally doesn't pay me right now**
not putting his logo on work from said other jobs
using an email address that he can't access himself [yes, he does in fact log into people's email accounts I saw him do it a couple of months ago and was super skeeved out]
arguing that I should only get a small percentage of the pay from some future classes even though I'm doing all the curriculum dev, planning, scheduling, and teaching

Oh and what's hard to convey is that these conversations he is incredibly insulting, rude, and dismissive. This is the guy who profits from my work ethic and how many different subjects I learn but once told me he couldn't pay me for my time on that because "we can't pay for someone getting up to speed". As I was writing a TIC-80 class years ago complete with physical 'zines as tutorials. "Getting up to speed"

Anyway, so, yeah there's going to be an opening at the local community college for a part-programmer part-generative artist job in a department whose dean loves me so I'm going to be applying for that and saying fuck him for good.
