It has been about one year and two months since I've written my first post, not only on here, but in general. It's definitely interesting to read my old posts, they give me a glimpse of how I thought in the past, and how much my opinions differ now, being more refined in some aspects.
I've thought about deleting some of them. Perhaps editing. In the end, I left them up because I think it represents fairly well my evolution. I can certainly say I write better now than I did the year before. Writing is an unique medium to not only sharpen your opinions, but to have rather meaningful debates with others. It's a rare medium that is omitted nowadays for the audio-visual, but it's full of knowledge that we wouldn't otherwise get.
I write in private too, much more than here. Though, I reprimand myself for not writing enough, as in quantity. Sometimes it feels forced, sometimes it comes out naturally. I definitely enjoy it, but at the same time at one point it feels like a chore. I write for fun only, though, not professionally. Obviously, I think I can practice writing more and make it more natural, starting with fiction. I have a project I'm working on, though it won't be up here for a long time, because it's in its infancy. Instead, I will try my hand at poetry, and perhaps short stories. I have trouble with making characters and not making them plain, so there's the thing I want to improve at. Nonetheless, writing non-fiction, like I usually do, helps a lot with thinking and self expression. So hopefully, expect a bit of more unusual things on here.
I must mention, I don't write for the Gemini protocol itself. I expect my blog to be long-term, wherever it might be in the future, on multiple protocols perhaps. The medium does change the writing, but in this case it's plain text files.
