As an antipodean who has little experience of large cities, let alone LA or NYC specifically, I probably don't know enough to comment? My impressions of NYC are lots of Old Money and Mafia (with the two often equivalent), lots of muggings and street crime. Great concerts at Central Park, maybe more diverse in terms of residents? stupid Grandparents Rights laws.
Of LA my impressiosn are maybe vaguely progressive, recently being overrun by Tech Bros, lots of spectacular scenery closeish by, hollywood stars homes, surfing, and it seems I get it confused with San Francisco.
But yeah, no idea on which top pick. Sorry :)
Quake, the original. First game I really got in to. Lots of fun solving the puzzles and getting through the levels. Half life is a close second. Night in the woods is up there too.
I will be back once I've read the synopses of these.
Ok, I think I have in fact seen both of those movies, but I don't have any strong feeligns on either. Probably Breakfast Club.

This one I've actually thought about a lot overnight. And after all that thought, my answer is that I don't hink we can afford to lose Firefox. It's really the only credible alternative to the googleBorg, and I'm thinking it's prudent to resist the googleBorg as much as we reasonably can.
Without linux, we still have a number of other open or libre source operating systems and environments that are still innovating along with linux.
