Akkoma

This is how I installed on a Linode VPS with an OTP Akkoma release.

Setting up a Linode "Nanode" ready for Akkoma:

• How to set up your VPS on Linode
• DNS setup to point your (sub)domain to the VPS
• ssh key generation/upload and remote login

Then installing Akkoma itself:

• The installation of the Back-end server
• Certbot setup
• Front-end setup (AkkomaFE: the web page you use to interact)
• Setting up email (for user confirmations and notifications)
• Creating your first user

A couple of small tweaks I do so my instance runs smoother

• enabling backports on a Debian VPS, to get…
• btop! Because it is like top/htop but cooler!
• adjusting the swap priority so it doesn't just sit there full.
