@jmax - i’m going to do the same thing and use my gemlog for stream of consciousness (eventually). i like yours a lot.

@wandern - i love your username. i have no idea if the Google Chrome translation of your writing is accurate, but it’s beautiful, whether purposefully poetic or accidentally nonsensically poetic.

Feathers and hair and the weather.
Blue skies hangover. Moëze dirty dish. Mild south-southwest wind. I am an unexpected turn of the ramparts. Rare barn swallows appeared at sunrise, in the sour milk heights I said.

@bbybluet - i started reading your new entry under your new username thinking you were a different person and was excited for another good journal to read lol. is bluet for the damselfly? the flower? the french for blueberry? all beautiful things

@starjump - i think you are too smart for me

@bbybluet - i am adding bluets by maggie nelson to my reading list! have you read autobiography of red by anne carson? it’s a novel in verse; another color title.

some people can create a moment out of anything

i’m going to have to start a favorite flounder lines page

@jmax - no this is more fun and also somehow more meaningful, don’t you think?

also i like that you call your messages page “chat room”

@evilswampmonster - i would also love to go camping when the leaves change and go to oregon. that sounds dreamy. i haven’t been camping in ages. i will have to wait to go camping until my baby is older though. some wild people go camping with newborns, but i am not that brave. maybe when she’s a year though? or maybe at least a cabin… do you get outdoors a lot?

9/6/23 @9:30pm

@brolin - thank you so much for your kind message <3 it was a very nice welcome here. i totally copied your “now” page for one of mine. i would love to hear your music.

@punkreflex - i like how you describe the shows you’ve been to; i saw the front bottoms in 2013 at a free college quad concert before they blew up and before i knew them, and i would love to go back and relive that concert now (they played with a great big pile of leaves, it was amazing). i like our local college radio stations, WRUW and WJCU. there was a dj on WRUW who always had a great playlist every friday morning. i haven’t driven into work for 10 weeks though so idk if she has the same time slot. i’m glad the cat in your life is being nicer to you ^..^

@bladebby99 - i’m so sorry you’re going through a hard time. i really like the way you write. i really like what you said about how people are like ducks. that metaphor is gonna stick with me. i have a feeling i’m going to feel like i have mutant feathers too this upcoming week.

@alex - this place is very cool, ty for making it <3

i will try to poke around more sites the next few days ^..^
