Hello and welcome to my Gemini capsule, or Gemini Garden?

This site is a work in progress and will always be that way. It will evolve and change as I evolve and change.

I'm a nix nerd and have a passion for all things text.

I still think Zork is one of the best games ever created and think it should be a right of passage to entering the nerdspare! ;)

I use free and open source technologies where ever I can, I try to live the Unix philosophy in code and life, removing the clutter and bloat and achieving the zen of minimalism, or at leased attempting to do so.

The Unix Philosophy in a nutshell:

• Write programs that do one thing and do it well.
• Write programs to work together.
• Write programs to handle text streams, because that is a universal interface.

The simplicity of the Unix Philosophy blends nicely into my own philosophy 'Balance'.

I like balance and believe life can only exist when there is balance, this is my philosophy.

When put into one sentence it sounds so simple but the complexity of Balance would take the age of the Universe to understand.
