Dreamolers CAPS Stomper

Simple and effective kick drum synthesizer.

Program opens six windows:

1) Main Menu
2) View Window
3) Amplitude
4) Frequency
5) Limit
6) Other

Ad 1) - Main Menu

In Main Menu window, there are nine following functions:

1.1 - Feel the groove! - Audio playback through AUDIO device - functin may
      be faulty, unlike other functions, though...

1.2 - Recalculate - Function recalculates (refreshes) syntesized sample
      after changes made by you in Amplitude, Frequency, Limit and Other
      panels. Function is triggered anyway before saving or playing the sound
      back. Seem useless - we wanted to have more gadgets in a window to
      get more professional look...

1.3 - Save 16SV - function saves 16bit sample ready to be used i.e. with Digi
      Booster Pro.

1.4 - Load presets - loads configuration of sliders and other menu defining
      the sound of a kick

1.5 - Save preset - saves your sound in form of configuration of sliders

1.6 - AHI unit - AHI unit selector

1.7 - Engine library - selector of accuracy of rendering engine - each is
      described by Info button in selector window

1.8 - About - hangs the program

1.9 - Quits


Ad 2) - View Window

Ad 3) - Amplitude

Here you can describe characteristics of amplitude envelope
of a sound. Amplitude is set by geometric string with Start level,
Factors in range 1-254 for dumped sound, 255 for constant amplitude and
256+ for divergent self oscillation. Min and Max values clips positive
part of amplitude within their values. Negative side is mirrored
positive.

Ad 4) - Frequency

As in 1.3, with relation to oscillation frequency. Sliders
describe frequency envelope with meaning pointed in 1.3.

Ad 5) - Limit

Limit performs clipping on a sound with a threshold definted
another geometric string envelope. Limiting envelope is also deifned
with identical set of sliders as mentioned in point 1.3, with the same
meaning.

Ad 6) - Other

Length - enter the length of a sample in seconds
Angle - defines phase of transient - enter 45 for harder click
Frequency - sample playback frequency
