i ditched paypal. too many years of too many frustrations and always knowing when push comes to shove, they or their algorithms will screw me over without hesitation. deleting that felt good. delete from your life what you unhappy. can recommend.

i got pretty far using wise (formerly transferwise). they gave me three accounts: eur, gbp, usd. i could get even more currencies if needed. now i have a local account/routing/sorting/iban or whatever number is used in that country/area. a bit tedious sometimes though. when paypal works it is comfortable. if only it had worked for me more than a few times. · 10 months ago
Wow I never ran into those kinds of issue, and never had any need to reach support. I can understand your position, though, with this history... I do not know any alternative but I would also be interested ! · 10 months ago
question: what is a viable alternative to paypal? · 10 months ago
their inability to accommodate for an international move. no way to delete an old address. continuous account lockouts when using the mobile app, but not via web browser from the same phone. ridiculous fees and fantasy exchange rates. waiting for days to receive money in bank account. scammy upselling on crypto. basically impossible to reach a human in acceptable time. this product is pure waste of time and not reliable. · 10 months ago
