Been celebrating the anniversary of something really special the last few days. So I just wanted to know, how has everyones life changed in comparison to this time last year? Where were you then and where are you now?

So much, new job for me, new job for my wife, new apartment… a good year 😅 · 1 year ago

It generally got worse. But now, at least, I recognise the issue and am working on it. So, I have momentum, at least? · 1 year ago

It feels a bit callous to admit, but I've been missing lockdowns. The past couple of years gave us such long stretches of time together as a family, and I loved it. The last year has brought some really positive changes for me, but having the grind creep back into our world feels like a big fly in the ointment. · 1 year ago

Last year at this time, I was finishing up a job at a school and beginning a really frantic summer job. · 1 year ago

Glad things are going great for you! I am largely in the same place I was last year. Whats really changed if anything is myself. One day at a time over the year, the things I once enjoyed started to no longer bring me any satisfaction. I now realize I *need* something different out of life if i want to really enjoy it again, which is a conclusion I hadn't come to last year. Now I need to put effort into achieving my goals, but feel very overwhelmed with all the choices I need to make and the consequences of those choices. Personal stagnation becomes almost sickening with enough time once you really notice it. · 1 year ago
