My friends and I play D&D mostly, but we just finished a few adventures of the new Blade Runner game. Blade Runner RPG has an interesting ability system that seems well balanced without having too much math.
I have super fond memories of TFT. I played it a lot when it first came out (*cough cough*) but not much since then. Over the years I kept returning to the idea that the TFT rule system was what D&D should have been.

There's actually been a lot of stuff published for TFT since Steve Jackson Games kickstarted The Fantasy Trip Legacy Edition in 2018 and it hit retail sale in 2019, both from Steve Jackson Games and from Gaming Ballistic. I've got most of it, and it's looks great. The Legacy Edition kickstarter had lots of bits and bobs: megahex tiles, neoprene hex mats, decks of cards of characters, monsters, treasures, etc, and a lot of the follow on stuff has also had that sort of thing.
I never got to play TFT back in the day, and never saw it in stores, but I've gotten to play Melee a couple of times online recently and enjoyed it and am planning on running a TFT campaign in the future.

I've seen some folks wondering if the new Blade Runner game had a wide enough scope to keep it interesting, although I don't think that they'd even read it. What is your experience?
Is there are free quickstart for it?
My group played 3 BR adventures. The first one came with the game, and the second 2 were created by people in the group. The idea of needing to spend 1 “shift” of the day to travel to a different location seemed to rub people the wrong way. And the idea of developing your character by accumulating gear is not part of the game. The setting was fun, the skill/dice system was fun. The job is about blowing away replicants, but the interesting story lines are about saving them.
