Thunderstorms. I'm sitting in bed, reading my email, and catching up on the day which passed me by, as I hear rain tap against the window and see the occasional flash of lightning trhough the window. Oh, how I wish I didn't have to get up early tomorrow morning (or this morning as the case may be, by the time I finish writing). I'd love to just sit there and watch the storm, but I can't. I have to get up in the morning to take Diana's sister in for work. I hadn't spent a minute on the computer until a couple of hours ago. I had been caring for kids for the majority of the day, and made a trip to the in-laws this afternoon. An unusual day, but quite nice, actually. One thing which upset me about the day was that where I had gone unplugged for the majority, I hadn't known that we had been placed under a flood warning for Saturday morning. That was shocking news for me, as the last I had heard was to pretty much expect river road to be under (as always). Now, I come to hear that there may be more--not much, but still... So, once I learned that, I went you know where, and updated the site to show a different tone. I also popped a slideshow of pics taken on March 20, 2002, to help illustrate what can be expected, as the forecasted flooding is roughly the same. I also went through all those pics and tried to give them approximate locations (i don't dare say exact, as google likes to publish coordinates). I doubt if it helps anybody, but hey, ya never know... Now that I've gotten that done, I'm heading to bed. Maybe I can find time to finish reading my emails and get my homework done (which is what I had intended to do!!!) sometime tomorrow.
