THE DAY is near, adrenaline is beginning to pump around the county and
indeed across the world in eager anticipation of Limerick’s fourth
All-Ireland final appearance in-a-row. From Lebanon to New York and now
even Indonesia, Limerick fans are showing their support for the boys in
green in colourful and creative ways.
Emily Ryan from Caherelly along with her three friends, Claire Talty,
Niamh Madden and Ceire Flynn said a special prayer in a traditional
Indonesian way ahead of the All-Ireland final this Sunday.
The four girls who completed their Speech and Language course in Galway
are travelling around South-East Asia in celebration.

According to Emily’s mother, Aoife the girls will manage someway to
watch the match but with the seven-hour time difference, they may
struggle to find somewhere showing the game.
“They’re on the Gili Islands at the moment so they don’t know if
there’ll be a place showing the match,” Aoife said.
“They’ll find some way of watching it, even if it's on their phones,”
she added.
It’s just over 24 hours until Limerick take on Kilkenny in the
All-Ireland senior hurling final. Throw-in is at 3.30pm and it will be
aired live from RTÉ Two.
