Submission Guidelines

• In the subject line of your email include your Last Name, First Name and the titles of the poems you are submitting.

• We accept three (3) poems per person per issue, sent as a Microsoft Document (please no PDFs).

• Please include a short bio with your submission.

• No need for a formal cover letter, a nice “hello!” will do.

• We do accept simultaneous submissions. Please include a note on this when submitting and make sure to contact us immediately if a piece is accepted elsewhere.

• Not all toothpick poems have to be thin or one stanza long. Due to our limited resources, though, different structures might be more difficult to publish. If we love it, we will find a way to publish it.
