Reading the answers to my August 5 Questions:
Bronzie's 5Q Question Set for August 2020
is making me all misty-eyed and nostaligic. See - this online interaction thing works, I'm sure it's gonna catch on!
Already feeling a sensucht for that which was,
has somewhat tipped me over the edge into a minor ocean of fond recollection of times (and computers) past. I am now going to have to (at least for today) resist the urge to pull out my old A500 and plug it into... something... I think I'm reduced to the RF modulator until I come up with a cabe/converter solution for a more modern monitor... I still regret letting go of my last CRT monitor. Paying excess resources forward is a beautiful thing, but occasionally retaining your last piece of a particular enabling technology is also a pragmatic choice. Meh - actually, lack of CRT may just be what keeps me from ambling off my to-do list into tyhe ever-beckoning nostalgiaville today. I have nothing against nostalgiaville - I encourage drinking from its fountains regularly. Just. Not. Today...
OK - time to get the show on the road, so to speak :)
Be well, my freinds.
