This is pretty much a test post.

I've spent the past few hours wrestling with Python's xml library trying to generate an Atom feed for this gemlog. It probably would have worked but it was being extremely fussy about object classes. Eventually I gave up and wrote the xml-generating code myself.

I was initially going to go more in-depth here about the problems I was having with xml, but it really isn't worth the time. So instead, I'm using this post to test my feed-generating script.
