Whenever I write emails structured like I learned in school, with a couple questions (clearly split into paragraphs) I only get replies answering one of the questions and it feels like the other person skimmed my email... what am I doing wrong?

Yeah, it's a common problem. To improve your chances, try something like this:

Hello $NAME

I have N questions:

1. Question 1.

...

n. Question n.

Kind regards etc.... · 7 months ago

I say you're doing nothing wrong. If the other person doesn't extend you the courtesy of responding to your entire message, they are at fault as far as I'm concerned. · 7 months ago

A lot of people just don't have the attention span to answer more than one question at a time any more. · 7 months ago
