1) The Tinylog is composed out of the posts on your u/textmonger feed:
Basically anything you post there will show up in the Tinylog. The contents of the posts are slightly modified to comply with the Tinylog format so that all headings are replaced with level 3 headings. Also, comments on the posts are not included, there will just be a link to the comment thread. Other activity on Bubble does not appear in the Tinylog (e.g., posting in other subspaces or commenting on other's posts).
2) That is a placeholder shown on empty feed pages. It is basically just UI and not part of any published feed. When you make a post the placeholder will go away.
