Laois Offaly Kildare has a new Garda Chief Superintendent.
Chief Superintendent Anthony Lonergan was appointed to Laois/Offaly and
Kildare Garda Division on promotion from his role as Garda
Superintendent based in Waterford.
He replaces Laois resident, Chief Superintendent John Scanlan who
retired from his role after 14 years at the helm in the Division last
April.
The newly appointed Chief Superintendent was the face of an appeal for
missing Laois woman Imelda Keenan earlier this year.
