Latte was a tiny and happy eighteen month old pup whose health declined
very rapidly over a few days last April.
She became very weak and wouldn’t eat any food.
She was taken to the vet and when she was X-rayed it was discovered
that she had swallowed a large school rubber eraser, and that it was
completely blocking her gut, preventing her from eating.
Latte was surrendered into the care of the KWWSPCA and the vet carried
out intricate surgery to remove the blockage.
All went well and after a few short weeks with one of our foster
families, she was ready to be rehomed.
She was adopted this week and we were delighted to see her going off to
her new home to start a new life.
She also has a new name, Lola.
Another dog who came into our care in March was Danny, a young Lurcher
who had a tough beginning in life.
He was adopted in April and his new owner sent us a photo recently of
Danny enjoying the warm weather and cooling down in the water.
Thank you Oscar and Rian who recently finished their sixth year in
Tiermohan National School in Donadea. Before their term ended they had
a fund raiser for the KWWSPCA and we really appreciate their efforts.
