Welcome to my Gemini capsule. I am a Science and Physics teacher from Christchurch, New Zealand who writes code in his spare time, but would really rather be outside doing almost any type of sport! 🏔 🏃‍♂️ 🎿 🛶 🚴‍♂️ 🧗 🧘‍♂️

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir

Image: Book Cover

After being recommended this book a lot I ended up being gifted it for Christmas (thanks, Mum!). Turns out it’s as great as everyone says it is. The science feels immersive and accurate and doesn’t stray too far into science-fantasy, which I love.

During the reading I found out that I now think paper books are inferior. They’re hard to hold while being comfortable in bed and get well illuminated. Kobo for the win.

The plot was original and interesting and you can’t help but want to keep reading at the end of every chapter.

Loved it.
