Herein, kindly enjoy these direct urls to various music streams. These are music stations I myself enjoy, mostly; they shall be updated as it pleaseth me. Many of these links I found by reading awful station source JavaScript, ripping them by eye and hand. So I should share the fruits of such labour. If you have any relevant streams to share with me, especially with low bandwidth options, please do ping me at shufei(a)Riseup.net.
Beautiful music emerged in the USA after WWII as a tonic to widespread PTSD. Prominent throughout the high modern midcentury, the format should have no more than 1/4 ratio of vocals to instrumentals. It is especially done best when deploying instrumental renditions of pop songs using large violin bands to play melody. The orchestras of Mantovani and James Last are exemplary of Beautiful Music.

KLUX is on the fm broadcast band, a Beautiful Music station run by the Catholic Church in Texas. It is interesting to hear about Christian saints. They also have nice encouraging messages to buck one up.

Jones College Radio for many years was on radio as WKTZ, and kept a highly unique library of beautiful music well into thr 2010’s. It isn't as pure oldschool Beautfiul Music as it used to be, thanks to their server getting fried, but is still nice to listen to. No commercials, but they appreciate donations and sponsors. I wish they had more Mantovani and James Last these days.
Seeburg 1000 is oldschool muzak. No vocals! One of the band members of KISS likes it and does occasional intros. Very little voiceover or songs, so it is great to listen to for projects requiring relaxed concentration.
Serve it 1991 style.
I greatly prefer actual oldschool compositions rather than remixes and other derivative work.
I am partial to having my funk uncut - raw and filthy. (Yes, I catch George Clinton and pals in concert when able.) Similar for oldschool Jazz, down in the blues. But I will enjoy extra sweet society tunes when of a fancy mood.
SomaFM's Secret Agent streams are especially apt for doing outdoor work or heavy lifting like working on solar panels. This light neofunk station will get one grooving.
It's especially nice of SomaFM to recognize many people have restricted bandwidth, so offer very nicely levelled streams at narrowband. 32k AAC usually sounds good enough for me, keeps me sweating as I drill and saw aluminium.
