Is there any good music making software that's fully accessible only using a keyboard? (The typing kind, I mean.) I can't use a mouse, and I can emulate one in a pinch, sure, but I'm curious if there's anything like what I'm describing out there. Preferably with Linux support, but I'll take what I can get. I’ve never learned proper music theory, I just want to noodle around and see if I can make cool sounds :)

Midinous — A node-based, non-linear MIDI sequencer. Recently I stumbled across this very interesting piece of software. Was curious if anyone here knows about it and if you don't, I recommend checking it out. I've been having some fun, but didn't really got into the weeds of it yet. The node-based thing can be a bit of a mind-fuck if you're not used to anything like it, but it makes my programmer brain parts tingle. Is it too early to be nostalgic about KONPEITO? When I first got acquainted with Gemini and started working on Lagrange, these mixtapes provided a soundtrack that really put me in the right mood for the Smolnet. Anyway, KONPEITO is going down at the end of the month, so download/enjoy while you can.

it would be awesome to have a music metadata database for Gemini. A MusicBrainz proxy would do the job, but having something independent would be cooler. I wonder if there is a feasible way to keep something like that updated automatically.
