A cyberdeck (or just deck) is, originally, a portable computer as described in cyberpunk literature. Generally speaking, laptop-like, with a screen and keyboard and peripherals. They're optimised for hacking, with the ability to jack into the matrix / cyberspace. The general aesthetic calls for less hingey, more popup screen.
The way I see it, a cyberdeck is an open portable system design with built-in keyboard, battery, screen, and connectivity. I'd consider the pinebook a deck, but there's a certain _je ne sais quois_ that goes along with it. Some I don't really care for, like the "Cyberdeck Rev 1". The DevTerm is a perfect example, and I really liked the Raspberry Pi Recovery Kit.
