Re: found in Linkulator/Society - Preserving our memories in the cloud
I didn't read all the way through the article, I scrolled down and then got distracted by obv. brain rot/US State propaganda in another article on the NS site... BUT... all that aside, I have noted many many times that I cannot function without spell check and Google (to look up what I surely cannot remember, like deep botanical knowledge, or which variety of bird that is... etc.) and called it "Google smarts"...
then, I realized, fairly recently, that I need to actually Write It All Down, because I run a high risk of developing some form of dementia. My mother's father, my father's father, and my mother were each and all sticken. Further, I have recently been finding myself struggling to remember, or to make sense of something trivial, like I watch it being blocked off in my mind as I try to process it. So scary. It made me decide to try a different approach to writing my memoirs... instead of year by year, and "finallized" in HTML pages, I created an outline and grouped it by former residences. This seems to move things along much quicker.
Because time's a tickin'

Sometimes I'm trying to find the "main" or OG location for someone's phlog or whatever and I feel like Neo/Mr. Anderson looking for Morpheus lol
