I skipped class yesterday. I'm skipping class today. So, I'm skipping class. Again. Why? Well, I'm so glad you asked. (and shocked if you actually did ask!) First, let's rewind a little... ...a few months ago, Diana and I were aimlessly driving around the county. As I watched the road and she watched the scenery, we began to talk about some of our future plans, including the desire to have a house to call home. Diana explained that she had finally come to understand my strong desire to live in a house that we could call our own. Imagine it. Finding a house to call home, after living in an apartment or other rental property for a few years... ...as I drove on, we passed a house with a real estate agent's sign staked out front. Diana asked me to turn back, so she could take a look. I obliged. A few days later she started looking into getting a loan, and started contacting local agencies. After weeks of checking this and that, and reviewing the local advetisements we received a call yesterday. Diana had become "pre-approved" for a home loan. A few short hours later we were shown a home on which we agreed. The viewing of the house yesterday led to putting me about an hour late for attending class. I decided upon skipping class where it's nearly an hour drive to school, which would place me nearly two hours late for a three hour class. Tonight, a similar event occured. Earlier this afternoon I received a call from the realtor, stating that Diana needed to come back to the office and sign something else on the contract before the offer could be submitted to the seller. I received this call around three. Diana wasn't scheduled to leave work until five. At six o'clock I received a message from her saying she was leaving work. So, once again, I'm skipping class.

well, all that stuff fell through... and it's good that it went nowhere, considering a few weeks later Diana left her job.
