we thought we were working on artificial intelligence
variations on learning systems, not this blend repeat nonsense
trying to ascertain what might wake one up, that refrain
that repeat, that constant faith that we ��d seen some assimilation
rewarded by fail back to start, reseed, respawn, revivification
until the theologians six floors up at uni wandered down
complaining in righteous indignation that there were limitations
both ethical and procedural in the creation of small gods
would we please ward our systems, as half formed deities
were causing havoc in their library, getting eaten
or hiding in the secretary
