an early morning melody out here
listening to the album spin in skipping track
always the best idea first thing before coffee
because at the click, free association kicks in
begin to wonder
how when the revolution comes, we ��ll
how when the revolution comes, we ��ll

what might happen if someone were to rip all the verbs out
not just of this tune, forever stuck in one desolate bar
waiting to be served a love tap, waiting needles
but of everything, where a motion starts
hangs, repeats, releases
toss a beer can at the player, maybe
toss a musician at the player, maybe
intersect desire every one point two five seconds
this could be a disaster, it really could
get a guitar, slack the key, slack the time
sing with a straight inflection, fingernails for skip
some old industrial drone track with just three drum hits
off tempo at forty-eight revolutions
