trundling that woeful character along glowing paths
a disciple to ray-traced glories in puzzle solvers
it was asked �� why would they do this to themselves
were it not for our joy in puzzle solving, why
would our characters of their own volition
foray from their clearly comfortable kitchen
from their dome where cushions about
where cats laze and librarian access provides
in ebooks and glorious snacks �� yet here am I
of my own choice beside my books and dinner
cheerfully driving lightshows in puzzled wonder
eventually to nap, controller on my lap, luxuriating
for woe, defrayed, set out �� that cat we misremember
stretched along my neck, snagging chicken tenders
