thought the headache was bad this morning when I awoke at three
didn't pause to consider that it could get much more friendly
that perhaps I'd simply not plumbed the depths of hello security
focus
nothing to write home about
commenting by way of reference
don't write home about anything at all

last night re-hung my kick bag �� repetition is the mother of bruising
thought I'd get in some drills �� repetition is the mother of fusing
done working the sale �� repetition sells fusions of delayed forecast

wrote my four hundred, took a shower, coffee and painkillers
walking by the kick-bag, everything scissored together
ridge hand, sixty-pound bag ripped from ceiling, playing hello meow

examine cat who, with their usual examination, hneefs - reflex kicks in
hand darts out again, grabs the electrical cord bag ��s hung with, yanks hard
bottom of the bag brushes the very tips of kitty ears in rotation

left leg slaps bag to side, some animal brain screaming away
time to rip the bag's throat out and eat it, find gods and kittens in pouring sand
make friends with each individual separating grain

meow, complete with question mark, determines new frame
headache, sprung shoulder, pulled lat, percussion fracture toe-abouts
bone flake floating around in there somewhere

for painkiller doesn't, cat's washing my face, and I'm trying to typecast
evaluating some super-heroic failure in spent tendons and muscle tear
noir redaction drawing a smattering of attention, god-bight and distant
focus nothing, focus commenting, don ��t write home
