Six Rests To Finish

we dream of the loved who died to spur us
the national pride that abjures us to action
and from our meadow below this great tree
full hollow, well loved, home to the many
we say no
that of the machinations before us, below
in the pit swinging off-beat in salt
where fire and everything frozen most nicely
desires our presence in writing and stone
we say no
where for everything price uncontracted
despising claims perjure of self un-refracting
block to those sundrops un-acting in solace
where leaf pushes butterfly wings unto action
we say no
stay below, stay beside, stay unwoken
stay mellow, stay fellow, stay folk
stay hand, stay renumber and station
weigh blip in green sipping striational cusp
we say no
for the meadow is soft unforsaken
to waken from static-drop stanchion
wire-guide desiccant ��or hydrated
in microwave stimulation by emission
of radiation
we say no to that signal surrounding
we say no to the hate long abounded
we say no, we say go, get thee hence
no dream shall demand recompence
