Diplomacy Between The Sheets

there are many indications that I have a kitty cat
the covers random moving, the blinds keep pulling back
that weakness to the sunlight long now overrun
but the covers keep on moving, and the cat is on my lap
so in a fit of dubious I stand and say hello
replying kindly gravel voice tells me it is so
that covers they are comfy and the teleporter broke
can I drop a call to central, here ��s a card to aid the cost
tentacle extending, plastic at the tip
kitten, all excited, struggling to grab it
why sure I ��d call that number, but I cannot make the words
your voice it ��s in my language, but this card, I fear it ��s hard
first contact, then, successful, a resounding joyous what
saved from horror ending by mistaking how a cat
might scramble under blankets, and after all the fuss
becoming discombobulated saves the lot of us
kitten all excited, playing with their motion
alien politeness leaving trails for devotion
they get on well, the both of them, and yes, I find it good
now we teleport to visit, both worlds clearly spoken
in that comfy, comfy dedication, nations to the beat
how because we both have pettins, no violence proceeded
and aye, in passing, snuggle up, meet me by the fireplace
with both our goals and cats in space, we ��ll stuff our faces further
