Surprises In Confection

invited to the coming out party
I baked a cake, as one does
no information provided, easy
no colors, no message, no problem
simple orange liquor and vanilla sponge
chocolate frosting with a hint ��
just a hint of cayenne and mint
discovered upon arrival
surprise, the coming out was mine
and while the cake was excellent
I ��d really appreciate if someone
anyone �� would define
what I was supposed to be coming out as
because I've not the foggiest myself ��
but I ��m damn sure not going back
my closet ��s already full of skeletons
and cupcakes
