Touching Gong

o ye who ��d paint victim
let me pour instead concentric circles
that we call us targets
no tearing of hair, nor teeth ground nubless
just someone aimed at �� not a done-to thing
target, and in free will ��s bend
be reminded in clean ringing
plate steel ricochets that straight shot
however hot coming in
no whining in ear from target, rest assured
that ��s just penetrator �� having expected passivity
pliant, conditional �� kicked back, full rotation
we are not for being done to, you and I
however that fire aligns, homilies attempting astride
no god-screamers �� platitudes need apply
o ye who ��d paint victim
let me pour instead transmutation
vesicle to sight lines
no more teaching us these sweet nothings ��
where angle of incidence suffices for rejection
plate steel has time
