scattered in the wake, ashes of a thousand generations
test upon test upon test, billow outward
settling into engine emissions, transmissible patterns
represented to sensors as dot, as sound, as sounding
where people have been, continuing outward
populous entities encoded into residue
we have been experimenting, seeking you
