the problem with crap steel is one of overrun
where even the basic starting motions snap blades
never mind coming up to speed, and speed
well, in line ��s fine, but moment arm ��s a compromise
twixt power and opposition, even before blocks
all those cute open movie arcs and fragile things
just shiver to fragments, spend the next hour cleaning
assuming you ��ve been left that next hour
give me improv any day �� starvation by point
recovery by edge, infatuation by blunt introduction
with �� if one ��s feeling fancy �� things that go boom
just kinda interspersed along the path
none of this lashing tail anticipation
from still center instead layer efficiency
in every action relay, minding all the while
those things you ��d rather keep protected
instead of accidentally shattering steel through
where there ��s no crime to love the good steel
but by feel and flow redeem thyself in practice
that you might at every moment know
limits of living in overrun
