Breaking Trash Compact

now howl �� and blood by blood retell
whose voice you put upon the table, strange and well enabled
before we begin, for werewolves, being linked to silver
is just as about as offensive as you might expect
for any other circumstance claiming lack of self-control
or lack of self-respect �� we are passionate people, and these
these are not slips, not in the slightest, however rips
portrayed in four color abbreviation, might pip us
dumpster diving is an honorable trait, however many complaints
may drip in disrespect, may in circumspection spit venom
claiming safety conscious ownership of that very trash
discarded and otherwise forgotten �� we repurpose to our hunger
or sated, carry yonder to recycle what ��s lost measure
that famed in trash to treasure �� no man ��s land an island
you who ��d deny your own the very slightest nibble, quibble
when of your discards shards of promise flutter, spread their things
feed those fables you ��ve discarded upon tables long regarded
as the professed and proven sustenance for culture under-blessed
so let us clean in equal measure your wasted age, your leisure
in stinking thought and stinking seal round the steel �� breaking locks
and when we ��re done, remember, we are not built from contagion
your fear impure as of your fear impurity presented �� seers
long and not forgotten speaking cotton under tongue �� done
where once fair now your cities �� splendors sweater after thunder
those howls you hunger for, for overs, those poor you claim dismembered
were never at your doors before, but now even your discards pass
change, sweet children, change, or by dawn in rust and transfer station
fall unto the wages you ��ve long claimed were of the lowest
slow, and then quick hunted, where your caskets behind burger joints
gave grave unto your own ��s lament, gave slavery and discontent
to those who on your discards bent a quiet hand, a silent heart
and did their part to take their start from slivers of your leavings
whose voice you shrive upon the table, strange and well enabled
