somewhere a tomato is rolling down a hill
similar in size to a pumpkin �� a well grown pumpkin
its structural integrity lacks that resilience
skin, seeds, a veritable contents sprinkler of glory
it lays its seeds along its path
behind it, slow
beladen with bacon
we await supply lines
moaning one unto another
that when civilization fell
when the monsters came
we ran out of mayo
grandmothers with chickens atop the hill
pressing oil, fermenting apples
laughing
