Making And Keeping Friends

waking up under a cat in the heat comes naturally
a symptom of living with cats, who view me ��
quite rightly �� as a bipedal heating unit
one which inconveniently dampens as the night ��
less osmotically inclined �� applies pressure
waking under a cat in the woods, having decided ��
quite rightly �� that a certain nook in an old oak tree
looked just about perfect for lounging, comes less so
particularly when that cat exceeds one seventy pounds
and has started washing one ��s hair, growling softly
some lost bipedal heating unit, clearly misunderstanding
how all aspects of forest work, in every regard dampened
definitely needs some proper care, and the frontal half ��
still dripping �� of the deer now resting gently
in the oak tree ��s other, less comfortable nook
until shifting, the cat mumbles apologies
that my snacks from the pack are gone now
but they ��ll get the fire going, just wait a moment
what are you even doing here in the back of everything
passed out in my best of comfy spots
