That Passing Malediction
August 14, 2022
there's this one truck that sounds like a plane
going over low as it dives the local oh-no
passing by like intrusive thoughts
those bad brain emetics
on parsing one ��s human value
or should one gestate further qualms
about that conversation
from 1987
every night about this time
disruptive of all concentration ��
tonight, I'm pretty sure it ��s laid its transmission
out in a decorative mandleblort
about half a mile on
so while neither vindictive
nor vindication, I can ��t deny
I ��ve a bit of celebration
and should you one day feel lesser
please remember, down the road a piece
in decorative disrepair, that dark conception
has caustically disarrayed itself
a casting of the bones
in your favor
