Fixing Affixation

exorcism didn ��t work �� we ��ve always been of dirt
no scutters down below in us, no gods nor devils sewn
just loam and duff and rougher things, and softer
roaming where we filter �� you called rejection
but infection isn ��t of our province, those law-abiding
war-cloud-riding squatters without diligence
suffer none who differ �� we ��re myriad sweet harmony
each unquiet voice in way, by thousand particles defray
costly growing heartfelt days, your monocrop betrayals
our pathogen was laughable �� your crucible sworn more inferno
one target sent to dent a bit, lest starvation all so innocent
come seeking much more permanent conversion behind light
so exhortation didn ��t work �� we brought you naut but variance
voiced in blight gone rot, gone hard, gone sward again
that with so-swift becoming plot our hardpan crack anew
then of claimed demon dirt �� by rotation lay your patterns
by nation and by nurture cleave, to betterment, to luster
muster of thy plantings earth where moving we come through
no axiom nor hell spawn plight �� just dawn, and night and nitrogen
