The Age of Restoration
June 30, 2022
we had seven attempts to restore the timeline
before the capacitance array collapsed
and judges, we are pleased to report
that the nearly empty megalopolis
composed of sweeping lines in heat-melt
our many-prismed city
brings us freshly beeswaxed
hand-hewn hardwood floors
from the lost species of six entire threads
rugs of a thousand extinctions
teeth bared in lovely ferocity
and real polished stone in every bathroom
