prison, they say, with three squares a day
is a chance to build character, muscle, and play
in the yard, in the quad, well fed today
while constantly spouting that crime doesn ��t pay
though it please the court, I ��m poor and this tort
won ��t get me inside ��for I starve down to mort
so allow me to say, should things go to nort
my last bottle of vodka to spill each atwart
do you mean that somehow my bribe ��s gone awry
that spiraling justice just watches the sky
dear lords, that ��s a felony well beyond try
kindly put me away to feed ��til I die
