we call them precursor conditions
sweet little crinklings, mews in the wee hours
kitten sounds and harbor for hawks
whittering bats under the eves
how freshly purchased, nightfall sidles up
begs to know if siesin complete
heir raising in storm and sweet dusk
barn ��s post and beam coming scrutinized
that cusp, in kilometers per second
where one lands, or, calculated to abscise
crater ��s edge-plume casts second knightfail
center post droplet rising fractional instant later
rescinded, ripple to rupture to same as it ever was
landed, one sees where the empty would have been
digs down a haul here, wellspring
forest in the sink, forever drinking
work over time
that engine, in energy distribution
where walking land one simply grows
a thousand generations in standard verse
flown one, and one, and one
inviting strangers in, through plenty and none
come, sit thee down, that we may
in stages before, build amity
draw-knife finishing mortis and tenon
laying it in, blood before starfall
that stranding, in revolutions amended
musk and oak secrets bestowed, sheltered
children in resting between times �� plurality
begging to know if it ��s true
how in centuries furnished, lightfall slides up
flittering many in arbor and entropy
colony cats rubbed up against strange and new
sweet little inklings, reviews in the towers
we call them precursor conditions
